Sponsorship Appeal

During 2022 we established this new charity to help young people, ladies and others, to access financially supported professional coaching, help with equipment grants and mentoring to get into golf.

We are accessing grants and one off support funding to employ professional coaches and we have already supported several  very successful New2Golf programmes for juniors and  ladies.  Our priority is to continue to develop the coaching programmes with the help of the professional golfers who have been supporting the programmes, to develop our  equipment stock and training programmes for volunteers backed by a solid consistent and sustainable income source.

We don’t anticipate a massive budget but what we need to achieve is an income stream which is solid and repeatable.  Ideally small monthly donations from many is the best way forwards although one off larger donations are also welcome.  For individuals and small businesses such charitable donations are fully tax deductable too and if a Gift Aid form is completed the charity can claim an extra 25p per £ donated from the Government. Gift Aid can only be claimed from individuals not limited companies.

Will you please support this initiative in Tenby. We will acknowledge every business supporting this programme on our noticeboard and sponsors donating £240 or more per year will be highlighted around the practice area at Tenby Golf Club.

Here is a standing order form and a gift aid form.  In this digital era the standing order form is not needed as you can simply set up a monthly or annual donation online.  If you don’t access online banking please complete the form, scan it and email it to the Treasurer@Tenbygolffoundation.Wales or alternatively leave it at the club addressed to the treasurer.

The Gift Aid declaration form has to be completed by individuals and this can be scanned and  emailed directly to the treasurer – no signature is required.
